Functional Medicine Services

Patients in Tacoma, WA, and elsewhere are able to access a number of online functional medicine services through video calls and a convenient patient portal. Learn more below.

All functional medicine plans start with comprehensive testing. I will monitor your results for signs of unhealth and tailor your plan to address these imbalances. From bloodwork to nutrition panels, from hormone levels to cognitive testing, I will figure out what is going on with your health. I will refer you to a local testing center, whether that is in Tacoma or wherever you are located.

Nutrition holds a crucial significance in functional medicine treatments, as it plays a fundamental role in supporting and optimizing overall health and well-being. By emphasizing the importance of nourishing the body with the right nutrients, functional medicine aims to address underlying imbalances and promote healing from within.

Nutritional and botanical supplements can boost your health progress and support biochemical/metabolic functioning, immune and hormone regulation, and detoxification. They can also assist with ongoing health maintenance on a limited basis. I will recommend targeted supplements for your situation.

Learn about a specific health topic with other like-minded people. I regularly host group classes that provide priority registration to current patients. Functional medicine is a partnership between doctor and patient, and so the more you know about your body, the better this partnership will be.
