Beyond Fasting: Using the 5-Day Fasting-Mimicking Diet (FMD) for Vitality and Longevity

An Online Class on The Evidence and Principles of the Fasting-Mimicking Diet (FMD)

November 5, 12, 19, 2025 (Wednesdays)

This 3-week online course offers a thorough understanding of how the Fasting-mimicking Diet (FMD) works, the similarities and differences from fasting, its benefits for health and longevity, and how to effectively integrate it into your lifestyle. For three weeks, you’ll be guided through a 5-day FMD program, with Monique Class, MS, APRN-BC, and Dr. Lukaczer providing expert guidance through interactive lectures, practical tips, and personalized support. The product used in the course (ProLon®) will be provided to participants as part of the program cost. By the end of the program, you’ll understand how fasting works at the cellular level, why it matters for heart, metabolic, and brain health, and how to apply these principles in your own life. You’ll leave with not just information, but also a plan—one that aligns your health goals with the science of fasting and the power of sustainable habit change.

Dr. Dan Lukaczer, ND

I have been a Naturopathic Doctor for over 30 years. I received my undergraduate degree from Duke University and my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington.

Early in my career, I became deeply involved in the development and application of functional medicine. I previously served as Director of Clinical Research at Metagenics’ Functional Medicine Research Center and later as Director of Medical Education at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), where I taught functional medicine concepts to clinicians around the world.

In 2025, I stepped away from my formal role at IFM. I continue to see patients virtually on a limited basis, consult with clinicians and organizations, and focus on expanding online classes and group-based educational programs that translate functional and integrative principles into practical, sustainable care.
