About Dr. Dan Lukaczer, ND

Naturopathic Physician and IFM Certified Practitioner

About Me

I’ve been a Naturopathic Doctor for the past 30 years. I received my undergraduate degree from Duke University and my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle WA.

I then went on to become deeply involved in the model called functional medicine. I am past Director of Clinical Research at Metagenics’ Functional Medicine Research Center.

I’m currently Director of Medical Education at the Institute for Functional Medicine and teach those concepts to other clinicians. I continue to see patients virtually two days a week.

My Practice

I see all patients virtually. A virtual or telemedicine visit is an appointment over a video connection rather than in person. It is convenient and secure and can be done easily wherever you happen to be as long as you have a phone, computer, and internet access.

Areas of Expertise

I see a variety of people with different health issues, and over the years I’ve gained a significant amount of experience and expertise using the systems-based, functional medicine approach in these conditions:

  • Digestive: including IBS, IBD, GERD, and SIBO
  • Autoimmune: including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, Sjogren’s Syndrome, and Celiac Disease
  • Cardiovascular and blood sugar: including Hyperlipidemia, Metabolic Syndrome, Hypertension, Prediabetes, and Diabetes
  • Unexplained Fatigue: including ME/CFS Fibromyalgia, and fatigue secondary to other causes.
